Split to Trogir
Trogir is 16 km west of Split along the coast, and unusually for an out-of-town site it is well served by scheduled transport in both directions.
- A seasonal passenger boat also runs from the Split Riva and lands you at the old town, but it takes roughly 50 to 80 minutes each way against the coach's 35 to 60.
- The number 37 bus leaves from Sukoisan, a walk inland from the cruise berth, not from the Riva. The intercity coaches leave from the station next to the port and are the simpler option on a port day.
- Trogir old town is a small island reached by a footbridge; the historic core is compact and walkable once you are across.
Most ships also sell a coach excursion to Trogir. However you travel, being back aboard before all-aboard is your own arrangement to make — we publish the journey, not your sailing. Your guide plays either way, and it is yours to keep.
- 35–60 min Split to Trogir by intercity coach from the main bus station beside the cruise berth, or the number 37 suburban bus from the Sukoisan terminal inland.
0.6–1.0 hours each way
Plan your return against your ship's all-aboard time, which is on your daily programme. It is earlier than the departure time, and if you are coming back by tender the last tender leaves earlier still.
